I am Bease and I was surrendered because my owners felt I was too shy for them. Well, I am changing. Here at the Gulf Coast Humane Society they sometimes let me wander around in the morning, at cleaning time, and I just LOOOOVE cuddling up to people. In fact, I am quite interested in humans when they are on those things called "telephones". They make funny noises when you rub your side on their mouths when they are talking and it just makes me giggle inside. So basically I start off shy, but once I am used to you and know that I can trust you, I am actually a lapcat. I have lived with women and need to go to a quiet and patient home. By the way, I am totally litter-trained. I am not really comfortable with people picking me up and putting me back into my cage and will put up a bit of resistance, but hopefully in my new home I will only ever need to be put in a carrier to go see the veterinarian for my annual check-ups.
