Description
This beautiful Golden girl was rescued along with her siblings. She is estimated to be around 2 years old. After receiving a thorough physical examination by one of our Network Veterinarians and being brought up to date on all her vaccinations, placed on heartworm and flea preventive was welcomed into one of our loving Foster Homes where she very quickly made herself, comfortably, at home. Amber is a very sweet, gentle, well behaved Golden who loves her walks and her toys. She knows the basic commands of sit, stay, and come but will, on occasion, "selectively" obey pretending not to hear when convenient. She is a sweetie pie. Her Foster Mom and Dad tell us she walks well on a leash UNTIL a squirrel, rabbit, bird, lizard, etc. comes into her line of sight...then HOLD ON. A little more leash training around distractions will be required. She is a smart little girl and learns quickly. Amber will remain with her Fosters for a minimum of two weeks while she continues to settle in and allow us to evaluate her further, and there she will remain until matched with the perfect "lifelong" family.
